- b. Label these new states with a newly created name that is based on why you grouped a certain part of the country. Please use relevant and respectful toponyms
- STEP 3: On the back of your map, write a justification for your choices. Be sure to include the relationships that would unify a region into a cohesive state. If you divide a current state, you need to explain why. Make sure to identify at least 3 of the maps that helped you make your decision. Each justification should be MINUMUM of 4 sentences.
